BES and MR Patches

We are running 4.1 SP6 MR5 for Groupwise, we want to install MR6 but when you look at these it says SP6 then MR6 without starting the services. Since we are on MR5 and want to goto MR6 is this going to be issue or are we supposed to reinstall SP6 then install MR6 the docs are kind of confusing in this respect at least for me.

I am not familiar with the Groupwise installation but I know from a Domino Lotus Notes perspective you do not need to reinstall SP6 in order to install any MR's. I would suggest contacting RIM to get clarification on it.
