BES Migration accross Countries

Guys

I need to migrate users from BES 4 to 5 and done this before using the transporter however for this client they also wish to move from a UK datacenter to one in Munich. Someone told me that the transporter is only valid in the UK and the US. Is this valid or should all be fine?

the only real way to validate that claim is to build a test box at munich and test.
