Default BES Gone From Handheld.

Not sure this is the right Forum but since the BES experts are here I thought I would give it a try.

Activated a new BB at Verizon store for my wife using my new every 2 upgrade. I told the clerk it was for my wife but he put it on my phone by mistake. When he re-activated my phone I was off the BES. I work for a large company and I NEED to be on the BES. The problem is no BB IT support on the weekends.

I did a restore from my desk at work and it did not put me back on the BES. Usually it says move the mouse to generate a new key but this time....nothing. Is there some trick I am missing to get back on the BES by doing a restore. It has worked in the past.

By the way, the restore was successful except for the only part I need, putting me back on the BES.

Phone Storm 2
Phone Software 5.0
Newest version of desktop software on computer.

Thanks for the help

If he 'wiped' it when he reactivated your device you have to have your IT people reset you on the BES and then rerun Enterprise Activation.... sorry. Mmmm very strange that there's no weekend support for the Blackberries. It kind of defeats the purpose of having one. People typically don't ned urgent support when they're IN the office.

Not unusual. Most smaller IT shops don't offer 24/7 support.

Might also check with your IT Bes Admin, if your company is running BES 5, you may have web desktop manager available to you on the internet.

From there you could re-activated your device at home (If of course if they have that enabled).
