Default BES Folder Redirection

A user is looking to view all emails that they have stored in exchange folders on their blackberry. They are able to see the folders but only new emails are in these folders. What sets the time limits on emails in these folders. Does this follow the general how long to keep messages on device?

Thank you.

you will only be able to see what was put in those folders from when the BES was set up, though you can search and find them. just go to the folder you want to look in, search and make sure you change the local to remote.
