bes express 2 way calender sync problem

Hi Guys i have installed bes express but the calender sync only works when i enter on outlook first. If i enter a appoitment on the bb calender it does bot syn to outlook. I have tried using the desktop manager to tell it to do a 2 way sync but no joy. Can anyone help
