Post BES 5.0 Installation

Hello, i am a one server admin and i have been on this bes 5.0 installation thing for three weeks now as i am a newbies on it. i have AD configure and Exchange on one machine and BES 5.0 installed on the second machine.

Each time i create and activate user on my bes, exchange user mailbox account doesnt receive the activation email. Also my device didnt activate either wireless or using desktop manager. The best i could go was to activation the device throu desktop manager and couldnt syncronise mail, it only wipe all the information on my device inbox and message box. My device has Bis data plan.

I have tested to confirm that bes and exchange is working just fine. More i dont really know how get to log file or where to check for error message.

Do i need internet on the machine that is hosting exchange and bes server, before creating and activating users on bes server.

Pls can someone give me a step by step procedure on how to install bes 5.0.

First thing's first. You need a BES dataplan on your phone. Other than that, we use Lotus Notes, so I can't really help you out here.
