BES 5.0 Collaboration Component changes
Guys,
I am new to the BES 5.0 administration. This is baffling me for some time. Since I am not the technician that originally configured the BES using 4.0, Im still trying to feel my way around. The original tech configured the BES Collaboration Component to use MS Office Communicator 2005 server, but not to long ago, we upgraded our servers to OCS 2007. I am trying to get the OCS deployed to our devices, but using myself as a guinnea pig and testing the app before I mass deploy. Since the component has been pre-config'ed for 2005, how am I able to change the component to use OCS 2007? I have everything else pointing to our OCS server, using HTTPS, and the 443 port #, but the client app on the device provides an error, Cannot connect to server, and I believe its due to the component being configured for 2005.
Not sure if I need to delete the existing component, and build a new one using the correct server information, or what my next steps are.
I have searched RIM's site, as well as the help docs, and this forum, and just have not found my answer. Any help you guys can provide me would be amazing! Im sure its simple, just may not be looking in the right places.
