Unhappy BB lookup fails with unknown error

BES: 5.0
Lotus Notes: 7.0.3

Intermittently Blackberry device lookups (ALP) fail (for all users).
Message in the logfile points to "Collection container is null". I have never before seen this message. Any idea on how I can restart the ALP service or fix it altogether?

regards,
Dirk

Not sure but a quick search of google returned this page and one from IBM relating to Domino (Which I'm guessing you are on?)

Take a look at it here. (IBM - Errors: 'Cannot create color palette' or 'Collection container is null' occur on server)

I had three people that were having the same problem only difference is that ours is on Exchange. I am going to have to do some checking to see if I can find what was done to resolve their issues.

im still looking at my old tickets to see if I can find the one that had the same issue in it. Hopefully I find it soon. I do recall Blackberries having issues with Exchange 07 so the resolution may not pertain to you since you're Lotus Notes.
