Default Address book sync problem

Recently, a user told me that the email address field for his Outook contacts was not getting synced to his Blackberry. I wiped the device and reactivated. All 583 of his contacts successfully synced. We checked his contacts and on closer inspection we noticed that the email address comes over for all of his contacts except for contacts that are employees of his company. However, if I type in the name of a person at his company and do 'Lookup' when composing a new email, it populates the To: field with the correct address. Is there a way to get the email address to sync for the contacts that work for his company? By the way, once we found out this was a problem we checked other users' devices and they had the same issue.

What's the problem? I'm assuming that if the user puts the person's name in the "To:" field they get the message, is there a specific need to see the email address?

I would agree with you but he's the boss. He doesn't want to have to take the extra 10 seconds to type the name and hit 'lookup'. He wants to type the first letter of the name, have it pop up and send the email. Also, he wants to be able to go into his address book and send and email from there. When you pull up any contacts that are from within his organization, from the address book, you do not have the option of emailing them. You have to go back out, go to compose email, and then do a lookup.
