Default Using old charger with new phone

Anyone know if a car and or house charger for a tour will work with a torch 9850?

Thanks

You should check output Voltage on the Car charger first.

Then check on the new charger.

If they match it should be fine.

Guess I'm searching for the wrong thing as I tried to find the specs on both but not much luck. I'll try searching for output voltage. Thanks

My laptop (Alienware M11x) will charge a 9650 while the laptop is in standby. Won't charge my 9930.

Thats because you are attempting to use USB to charge a device. Depending on the charging parameters - USB may or may not provide enough current to charge your phone. It has not so much to do with the standard and more to do with the device itself and whether USB can provide the needed power.

Micro-usb is micro-usb - if you have a micro usb wall charger that charges your Motorola Razr - it will also charge your 9900.

If your tour has the same charging port as the 9850 (micro-usb), it will charge it.
