I'm ghetto I know, but I put a piece of packaging tape on the screen. Bubbles worked their way out in a couple of days. My opinion, looks better than my friends' SPs.

Best part of a screen protector is taking it off 6 months after you bought it, and it feels like you have a brand new device.

For a non-touch screen phone I just don't see the point. If I am not using it, it is in a case. For my touch screen phones I always have one but I won't on my Tour.

If you go with one I would suggest Zagg's or BSE. Stay away from IS. I bought one form them and it never came. Their response? Well, we shipped it. That was $30 down the drain.

I've always used them on touchscreens.

Not getting one for my Tour.

I'll simply replace the screen if damaged. I expect my device to last me a only year anyways before I want a new one. (changing technology and I'm a heavy user)

Boxwave is the screen protector I used.

I was thinking about getting Zaggs and saw that they don't yet make an Invisible Shield for the Tour. I think I read in one of the reviews that the Curve 8900 and the Tour have the same screen. Would the Invisible Shield for the Curve 8900 work for the Tour as well? Or do I have to wait for them to make a specific one for the Tour.

I have a screen protector on my storm and it doesn't diminish any response time by having it and it protects it from fingernail scratches.

I had a Phantom Skins stuck on my Storm before peeling off the original protector. For 3 months I used it, then tore it off one day. The thing has been tossed, slid, and otherwise abused. Not a single scratch, mark, or anything. You'd really have to be mean to a glass screen (iphone, storm, tour) for it to get marked up. Now a Pre on the other hand...
