Problems with HS-700 Headset

I purchased the HS-700 about six weeks ago, and all of the sudden, I lose pairing on both my 9700 and 9780. I followed tips from other threads, and still no dice. Also, when you try to speak any of the voice commands (ie: battery, continue, cancel, etc) the device doesn't recognize them.
I've checked BlackBerry's website to see if there was an option to RMA or even warranty info, and finally when I get a number to call, I find out that there isn't a warranty on any of these accessories... What gives, BlackBerry? Anyone here experience any of the same issues?

all of the same on my piece of junk 9800 torch...so many software problems...getting so frustrated

same problem here... bb bold 9700 running os 6 and HS-700. Had them working for a month or so, and then suddenly stopped working. Any news?
