Default OtterBox standby?

I'm just wondering if I get an OtterBox and the heavy duty belt clip does the phone go into standby when I put it on the holster like it does with the leather holster? Or do I have to manually do it? I know its really simple but its an annoyance to me to have to manually do it.

Yes. Just keep in mind that holster works with only the
Defender series.

That's what I'd like to get. And thank you for the quick response.

Ha. Thanks man. I've been a crackberry member for about a year now but never really posted anything untill recently. :P and I've had 2 previous BBs. I started on an 8130 then moved up to the 8330 then had an iphone for a few months after my switch to ATT and now am a proud owner of a 9000. I just wish I could do UMA calling!!!!

Your device progression mirrors mine. 8100 > 8310 > Bold >
8900. UMA would be very nice but alas AT&T does not offer
it. That not withstanding, the Bold is still a great device. Bigger
than I prefer but nothing to shake a stick at, and data and voice
concomitantly is a huge plus.

Haha. Yep looks almost exactly the same except I was on verizon for the first two. Which in all honesty I wish verizon didn't have such garbage customer service because there coverage is amazing. But ATT won me over yet again (for the third time) and as long as they keep up the amazing customer service, easy to use website, and expansion of there network I never intend to leave em.

Btw bbm me if you want I'm working right now and I'm extremly bored. (Security guard lol)
