Default Otterbox Sleeper Magnet
(Yes, I've searched the forums. )

I know there are many of you using the Otterbox Defender and regular belt clip. I've just ordered one for the 8330. Does anyone know if the clip has the sleeper magnet in it?

yes the clips do have sleeper magnets in them.

They made a batch of them with the magnets in the wrong place, but that has since been corrected. I recived mine yesterday, great case!

Got the Otterbox yesterday. Put in on my hubster's Berry and I LOVE it... no more worries about how "unfriendly" he is on his cellys.

I realized when the BB is in sleeper mode, the battery can last more then 48 hours without charging, if without less then 24 hours.

Thanks for the info. I just bought my case a few days back. I'm one of the few that got the batch of misplaced sleeper magnets. Went back down to the store and the whole display was bad!

If they don't replace it talk to otterbox directly and they will make it right. Probably let you keep the one you have and mail your replacement to you.

I went to the Otter Box site and submitted a ticket. They are sending me a new case. Not sure if it's just the holster or a complete case. I'll report back when I get it.

Very good customer service so far. As I said before it would do me no good to take it back to the store since all the cases on hand all have the magnets in the wrong area.

I received the replacement case today. Took them two days to get it to me. Which is super fast for me being in BFE. I didn't even have to call or waste a bunch of time...two online ticket updates and it was shipped.

Otter Box didn't even ask for the old case back. As threefive predicted..hehe I now have two.
