 iSkin Vibes and Ghost Armor for 9850
So I picked up one of these for by beloved 9850 and replaced the silicone case that seemed more protective (bigger lip, seemed more shock resistant). Pushing open a door, it slipped out of my hand and fell over five feet onto a granite step, bounced twice and landed on the screen. I thought that was it. I went over it with a fine-toothed comb, even taking the case off. It is unscathed. Both the phone and the case! The screen protector has really minor pitting but GA will replace it. I still can't believe it.
Major gratitude to both accessories as well as Blackberry for making a solid product.
And for the record, I think the plastic screen has felt just as good as the glass one on my Storm2 and the Gorilla Glass one on my son's Incredible 2.  |
