I have the OEM Hardcase so far, was thinking of ordering an Otterbox Commuter, this one seems like an awesome case. Makes my decision so much harder.

i bought an otterbox commuter for my 9900 and i love it...the ballistic looks cool, but the thing that i dont like or cant see is the ports...they dont have covers on them so dirt,dust etc might get in..that would be my only concern..

the price is pretty much the same for both cases...i got my otterbox from costco for 32.99 canadian yesterday

I have an otterbox commuter on my 9900 as well and I love it. A great fit and look as well as very good protection.

You can't go wrong with an otter box, I assure you. Especially when the case you're looking at is the same price as an otter box.

I just got the case in. Found it on $25 on Ebay with Free Shipping. Not bad considering its retail is around $32. It fits great and offers a lot of protection. Went on easily and the buttons on the side and top are easy to push with it on. Its pretty much like the Otterbox Commuter case, though I've never used it before. The inner is a silicone/rubber type and the hard case on the outside with Rubberized Texture on the back. There is a slot on the bottom to allow the speaker to be heard. So overall i give this case a pretty good rating. I like the fact that you can place it face down and its raised so the screen isn't lying flat on the table. As you mentioned before, no covers on the ports, still its a good case, fits like a glove.

Otter box commuter is one awesome case for the 9900/9930. Nothing else compares. I've had otter box cases on all my bb's and this one is the nicest yet.

+1 for the otterbox commuter. I also have the oem hardshell and never use it. Love the feel and look of the commuter.
