In my experience, Patriot is a reputable lower-cost alternative to Sandisk's overpriced products, right up there with Kingston. I do love Sandisk, but I won't pay their ridiculous full-retail prices. I have microSD cards from all 3 brands, and none of them have died or otherwise failed me.
