Theme Controlled

Could someone please explain what "theme controlled" means? In the 8830 manual it only gives 2 options for SMS and e-mail, one is combined and one is separate, it doesn't mention theme controlled. Thanks!

It means, it will control if you see SMS and Email in the one MESSAGES folder, or, if you see TWO icons, one for SMS/Text and another, MESSAGES, for emails...

is there a way to separate SMS message from email messages into two separate folders WITH two separate icons? using the separate option shows on email messages. thanks!

Yes just choose: Messages -- Options -- General Options -- SMS and Email Inboxes -- Separate...

This will add another icon in menu "SMS And MMS". If you still can't see image choose "Show All" option in menu...
