Question about the "Today" theme

Is there a way to get the Today theme to ignore specific entries in the calendar? I have my work schedule programmed in there (via Outlook) so that if I make an appointment, I don't make the mistake of trying to be in two places at once. The Today theme is nice in that it shows upcoming appointments on the home screen- but I don't need my next work shift showing up there. I'd rather only see appointments that are not on my normal schedule. I tried setting my work schedule to a low priority appointment in Outlook, but that didn't change anything.

Un fortunately there is no way to cchange this that I know of. I also wish to do what you are talking about.
