does that L-shaped theme work on 8830?

I saw the theme Kevin had on his curve on the main page in comparison to the iphone (round robbin blog). The icons were in an L shape down the left and accross the bottom. With the number of apps that I'm using on my phone, I'd love to have that setup -

does anyone know if this is something that's compatible with the 8830 and if so where do I get it?

You can find it here, but it will be a default theme on OS 4.3, whenever its released.

I really like the L theme but I can't see paying for a theme thats going to be free EVEN if its 5.00

I have it on my 8830. Works awesome and I love it.
