| | YouTube stopped working
I have an 8830WE running .77. YouTube used to work but has stopped. No errors. I've tried every Browser config I can think of. I've been searching CrackBerry for the past few days looking for an answer. I thought I had read something a few months ago on the subject, but I can't seem to find it now, and my only 'net access is via my phone right now, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I lost sound the other day and displayed no error. Did a soft reset and it was back to normal.

I tried a battery pull and deleted and undeleted the browser service book. Neither worked.

I presume you can browse other sites, and your going to the m.youtube location. At what point does it not work?

You presume correctly. I see the site fine and the list of videos. When I select a video, the video player screen opens, remaining blank. And that's it.

Check in your browser permissions under interactions that media access is allowed. I remember having a problem like this with an earlier os upgrade on my Pearl. I believe this is was the issue, although I'm knee deep in research to rebuild my rotary right now, so forgive my lack of focus if I'm off.

Are you refering to Browser Configuration? If not, I not sure where to look. If so, I have everything checked and enabled.
Thanks for your help. I'm assuming its Christmay Day for you and appriciate the help.

Can't do that from here, I'm out of country at the moment, which was why I wanted YouTube working. I'll reload when I get home. Anyhow, I keep thinking there was another step in the reinstall that involved the Service Books or something similar, and it directly related to YouTube working.
Anyhow, G'day from New Zealand.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | No it is just the OS upgrade to make youtube work. After the reload you have to resend service books but that is about it. It could be the area that you are in to not allowing that type of heavy data usage. Have you tried resending your service books?

I haven't tried resending the service books, but will do so now. And you're right, it could be the area, I had to switch to GPRS to get data. Thanks
