    Hey guys,
Go ahead and yell at me and tell me I need to search better, I don't care anymore. I have searched for 2 hours at work and 30mins at home. For the love of god someone point me to the link to download the 4.3.0 OS (or any OS for that matter, isn't there a OS link page?) so I can read the whole 8gb mini sd card I got and not just the 4gb (3.6 physical).

Your forums are awesome, but i can not find this important info and blackberry doesn't have it on their site which sux anyway.

That would be a beta and you're not allowed to ask for them.

Sorry, I was under the impression that it was not a beta since there is 4.5 out apparently, from all that I have read (trust me I read a lot before posting).

4.3 was never made for the 8830 with Verizon. Only the 8130 and 8330.

4.2.2.196 from Verizon does support 8GB memory cards. Download it from here... BlackBerry® Software Updates

If you don't buy it, read the readme for the fixes... it's on the same page as the download for the OS.

    Here's a very good reference by Pete6: http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/micr...c-cards-46673/

He includes the table listing the OS versions and the size cards they support, including 4.2.2.196

Congrats on your 2600 post JRSCCivic98. Just like the hacker quarterly which originated from a very early windows build, and probably even earlier than windows there was another build of a OS that had a build number of 2600.

Oh and of course in the early phone phreaker days when they used the old 2600mhz tone to get into the service mode of the telephone company. Would someone like a free whistle from Captin Crunch?....
