I have the 8830WE and live in the US and will be traveling back to visit my parents in England.
I plan to purchase a pay as you go sim card with orange or other UK phone company when i get there.
Will i be able to use my address book? its been a long time since i used a UK mobile phone but i seem to remember the address book was tied to the sim card?
just need to be certain before i leave so i have all my contacts.. i guess i can just copy them to a text file to be certain.
If anyone has had experience using the sim card part of the 8830we and can share what happened it would be appreciated.
I would say copy them to a text file or shoot yourself an email with the contacts because Im not sure if you switch the Sim cards will your address book still be saved unless you have saved them to the device itself.
