What software can open an .ipd file?
I am looking for something to open the .ipd file so I can edit the files in it. Anybody ran into something?

if you type your question in google, there several programs that allow you to view them, I'm not sure about editing though.
Why do you what to edit those files?Last edited by tyroni; 05-02-2008 at 06:29 AM. Reason: add question

Search for ABC AMber IPD Converter. It will extract data, SMS, etc., from your backup file. You can't edit it, but you can extract what you need.

open ipd file
The IPD file is used for backup and restoration of data on a BB. What you want to do (I think) is synch your BB to an application like Outlook or Outlook Express. You can do that with the BB Desktop Manager program.
