Has anybody thought about watching streaming video on their BB? I am not referring to a service like Sprint TV etc. I am thinking of trying to put Slingbox or the suchon my phone. Has anybody tried?
Unfortunately, SlingPlayer isn't available for the BB yet. It was supposed to be 2Q08, but no recent rumors about a new release date. Word is Sling has it ready (demo'd at CES in Jan 08) but they are waiting for RIM - presumably for OS4.5 which supports streaming media.
OS4.3 also supports streaming media, so if that's all that's holding it back, I don't know why it can't be released for us.
