I've looked for an hour now and can't find how to make the sound from movies that are playing go to the headset instead of speaker or handset. How do I do this?

If you mean a Bluetooth headset - it canNOT. The 8830 is not designed to transmit the soundtrack from a video over bluetooth - there would be sync issues. It might be something some 3rd party software could overcome but I am not aware of any.

Doesn't work with corded headphones either. I'm starting to get sick of this phone and blackberry's all together. It's like there is always some crappy "catch" to every feature of these phones. Is there a setting I need to change to get the audio from movies to play through the corded headset?

Nevermind. I figured it out. Not all headsets work with blackberries. Just another "excuse" for these phones.
