sync issue

I have a bb 8830 WE I created a reoccurring, private meeting which contains notes. i can update the notes on the laptop and they show up on the bb. If i update the notes in the meeting on the bb they do not show up on the laptop. There is also a set of blue arrows with a red line through them on the right side next to the meeting. does anyone know what this means or have you seen anything like this?

The notes field on the BlackBerry is smaller than in Outlook, so it's possible to have more notes on your calendar in Outlook than will sync to the 8830. That doesn't sound exactly like your problem, but it's all I can think of. I don't recognize the icon you describe.
