Even though I have the full keyboard, is it possible to install and use the Suretype program on the BB 8830?

Might be a nice addition to help speed up text input.

    Thanks

When I had a SureType BB, I was a lot quicker than on the full QWERTY.

Eveybody has there own opinion but for me I think its very fast. Once you start to get used to it, the BB starts to predict the words you're typing and it makes it faster.

Well, SureType itself does not predict, never has. It is not a predictive typing application.

Now the new 8130 does certainly have Predictive Typing on it, I have not used it but I am told it is cool to use.
