So I am using the new 4.5 OS on Verizon 8830 and I figure I would try Winamp Remote/ORB with the berry. Works like a charm!
I now can stream ALL my music and videos, even porn and full length divx movies, whoooooo hoooooo!
Its also extremely quick on the verizon network, minimal load times, but that also means your PC/MAC Internet connection needs to be up to par.
On the Winamp Remote/ORB stream settings set it to stream in Flash and add your media folders, Done!!!
One minor/mini drawback. Like youtube videos on 4.5 the videos playback in a tiny square even in full screen mode, which means these big fake porn boobies are really tiny, but hey, still works!
Looks Like I will have to set this back up. I used Winamp Remote, but I converted my desktop to Linux so I had to use some other streaming software and that worked on my PC. Once I get that up I will see if I can get it to work with the Linux version.
How are you abel to get your Blackberry to stream the media? I, too, have OS 4.3 on the Curve with Verizon. I am able to connect to Winamp Remote, but when I select flash as the stream setting, the files stall out in the media player. Perhaps this is because Blackberry doesn't support flash.

How have you gotten around this issue?
First of all does it say invalid supported file? or just doesnt do anything?
Secondly I can't guarantee it works on 4.3, its 100% works on 4.5.
This doesn't work for me on an 8330 with Verizon and os 4.5.0.77. I select flash in the winamp remote settings stream page and then try to play an audio file. Then it pulls up a white window that says [Flash: videoplayer] and nothing happens.
Do you have some kind of flash player installed on the berry? I don't think they support much flash do they?
