So here is the deal.. Being the addict that I am, I decided that I wanted to keep my 8830 with me while visiting Universal Studios. HA.. you can imagine what happened next... After getting off a ride I checked my pocket to find that my berry was GONE!! So I lost my 8830 Granted, I have insurance on the phone, but am optimistically hoping it shows up in Lost and Found (key word, optimistically).

My question is this.. I have an 8320.. I have a Sprint SIM Card from my 8830 (used for international travel). I popped my Sprint SIM into the 8320 and at first seemed to get a connection.. that very quickly dropped to SOS status. No luck there! Anyone know if I can use the Sprint SIM in another GSM phone here in the US? My guess is it would work on a GSM phone where I a Sprint-related cell phone frequency was available (as with carriers that allow you to roam on Sprint while traveling internationally) but it will NOT work here in the US on ATT, TMobile, and other GSM towers.

Anyone have any interesting knowledge here?

    thanks...
