I went in for my regular 8830 replacement (another broken USB port) and when the Sprint technician opened the box there was a 8330 sitting there. The tech said that Sprint didn't have any more 8830s at the warehouse and if I was ok with the Curve.

So this begs an interesting question. Is the 8830 just obsolete or is the Bold-variant coming soon?

Bold is rumored to replace the 8830. But there should still be some 8830, might of just ran out.

I forgot to mention that the replacement came from the warehouse (I ordered the replacement earlier this week). If the warehouse is running out then there's something going on.
