Some of my contacts have vanished for reasons unknown (about 20 that I have identified). When I go to re-enter them on the BB, they do not register after I have hit "save".
I perform a cable sync to Out look on my PC, but do not sync my contacts list as the one on my PC includes hundreds of business contacts I don't need on my BB.
Does anyone know what could have caused this and how to get the contacts back? I read something about a filter that may cause this--can anyone elaborate and tell me how to turn it off? Also, why is the BB blocking me from entering new contacts and how can I get around this?
In the Address Book, press Menu and select Filter. Uncheck any box that is checked. That will remove the filter and show you any contacts that were previously filtered.
