    I was reading that the sprint version is unlocked. Does that mean if i put my tmobile sim card into the device that it will work?

    NOpe, doesnt have the proper GSM radio's to be used domestically

    the sim card in the 8830 from sprint is for the world phone capabilities only. it is a good phone, but if you're not going to be leaving the country on a regualr basis then i suggest the curve.
