I switched from a Motorolla Q to the 8830 today (Alltel). When I send text messages the smart texting is not working. I like the phone to finish the words because I suck at typing. Does anyone know how to turn this feature on.

There is no "Smart Text" at all. Due to the fact that it is a full QWERTY keypad. The only thing close to this or at least it will help you is (Auto Text) in the options menu. It is basically an "auto-spell check" Actually, I have the Curve 8310 so I'm not 100% if the 8830 has this same feature. If it does then if you were to type the word..... thats it would automatically correct it to that's
There is a whole list of words that it corrects. You can even customize you're own words.
