Just received my 8830. I am trying to setup email so i can receive yahoo mail. In reading the manual it mentions to go through the wizard setup. When i do that my only option for email is "i want to use a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise server". I do not want this option, i simply want to add a new email account. Can someone please walk me thriugh the process. Thanks -
Do you want Yahoo E-Mail in your regular mailbox? I ended up installing Yahoo! Go. (available from mobile.yahoo.com/go)
If you want to setup Yahoo! mail to go to your regular mailbox, log onto your Blackberry BIS account, click Set Up Account, add your information, step through settings.
Although I have not run into this, not all carriers support regular Yahoo! mail, some require you to upgrade to the POP (ie PAID) version of Yahoo!
