Although i receive emails almost instantly, i've tried composing my first test email from the BB.

So i sent a test email to my gmail account, and the email is still in my outbox/pending status on the BB for now 15 mins. Of course i have not yet recieved it on my gmail.

Do i have to change any setting to be able to SEND emails? Thanks

Hmm, do a battery pull (take the battery out while the device is on). Now try again...

Also, double check the credentials for your account. Maybe during the setup something was entered incorrectly...

Ps: I take it you DO have service at present, where you are?

He got his issue resolved on another forum. Apparently it fixed itself.
