I used to have a treo 700p and used Ringo to manage ringtones, it did a great job on my Treo. So i downloaded the trail version for my BB 8830.

It was just ok, not as good as for the Treo, you had to set the BB profiles to off, etc.... so when it expired, i figured i would just use exceptions to make custom ringtones, so i deleted the trial version of RIngo. then i made a custom ringtone thru "contacts" , but when i called form that contact (my home phone) i got the defualt BB ringtone. hmm

Then i tried to make a exception on the advanced screen of the profile screen, same result.

I have poped tha battery several times along the way, what i have done should have worked but doenst, i am very frustrated. I can only think that hte RIngo software has screwed something up big time

I sure dont want to have to reset the phone to factory, i spent to much time setting other things up on it.


Any ideas of suggestions???
