Retrieving contacts

I just updated to the new OS. Not really knowing what to expect, I found an empty contacts list when I was done. Is there any way to retrieve these?

Yes, go to Dm. Click on restore, and bam there back.

I have a similar issue as the above. After loading on a few new ringtones, I noticed that some of my contacts had vanished (about 20 that I have identified). When I go to re-enter them on the BB, they do not register.

I perform a cable sync, but do not sync my contacts list as the one on my PC includes hundreds of business contacts I don't need on my BB.

Does anyone know what could have caused this and how to get the contacts back? Why is the BB blocking me from entering new ones?

I lost my Blackberry....AGAIN ! Switched to a non-smart Motorola Theory. Can I retrieve my contacts from a backup and install on this phone. Please help !!! Thanks.
