EVERY time I open a sms or an email... My phone freezes as if it is struggling to open the message. Same thing goes for when I am sending. Until the phone finishes opening or sending a message... I cannot do anything. It is really annoying and makes the phone not good for multi-tasking which we all know blackberries are great for.

I have tried everything. Reg battery pulls, cleared event log, erased all my messages, updated roaming capabilities, etc. Haven't checked app memory because I'm not sure how but I don't know if that could be causing the problem.

It definitely sounds like a memory problem. Check how much free memory you have left, then do a battery pull and check free memory again.

Go to Options - Status to check memory (or press Alt-Shift-H).

Sandsjh: I have FB, Google Maps, Poynt and Buzzme Pro. I then erased Poynt and that didnt help much at all.

I have 4.5.0.138
