New to the site, and to the BB world...Great site guys!
To the question:
I activated my blackberry e-mail through Verizon on my 8830 and when I open, I have a "No Service Book" message on top. I've read in other posts to sign into the BIS through Verizon (blackberry.com/go/vzw) but when I enter my PIN and ESN number, I get an error stating I need to sign in through my BB. Any ideas?
Run Email Setup on the BB. Go under under one of the Advanced options screens once on the system and Create a Username and Password for the BIS service. Once done, you'll be able to use this on the PC to log into the BIS account. There's a step by step on this site on how to do it, but I don't feel like searching for you.
