no mms or web

hi,
i just got a 8830 from kricket, and i have no web icon. i also have no listing, when sending messages, to compose mms. because of this, i also can not recieve mms messages. i tried searching through the threads to find an answer as to how to rectify this problem and couldn't find anything. any help would be appreciated.

Fist and the most important part is to see if you do have actually a data plan, or is it just network plan which includes FB,MSN etc etc. If you do have the Data plan then go through the download folder and check it out,if not just go through all other folders, you may find the web Icon there I am pretty sure.as per your MMS messeges, check it through the SMS, see if you can see it there, hope this will help you.

Are you sure its an 8830 and not a 8530?
The 8830 has no camera on the device.

I also have this same problem. When I look at my service books they are all checked except the last two (IPPP for 5 Click and IPPP for BIBS). Verizon told me this is what my problem is. They are set to disallowed. How do I change them to allowed? I purchased my phone on eBay. If I cannot resolve this issue by Monday, 9-13-10 I will be sending the phone back.
