I have the 8830 WE. I have it working with BIS.

My question is , how can I get the calander synce'd with my PC outlook?

1) can I sync it when I connect it with my PC?

2) can it at all be done wirelessly?

Use the Desktop Manager and plug your phone in. Setup Sync. Sync. Done.

my outlook totally crashed and all of my contacts are gone. They are all on my blackberry still though. does anyone know how i can transfer my address book back from my device to my outlook?

Just sync it through Desktop Manager.

i have been syncing it through desktop manager and it seems to not pull my contacts back into outlook. is there any special settings or something? i really need my contacts back on my comp. please help. Thanks.

Try changing the settings in desktop manager to "when conflict occurs, handheld wins." Let us know how that works.

thanks for the help. it worked...i guess. actually my outlook created a second address book and i just had to transfer everything from my new address book to my old one. i think this is an outlook issue not bb. i do appreciate the tips though.
