Ok, I have a new 8830WE with pushmail. As such, the screen auto locks after 2mins or so. I have a simple 6 char numeric password to unlock the phone (Say "123456"). What keeps happening is, it can sit idle for some period of time (half day), I go to unlock it and it wont accept my stupid password. By the 3 or 4th attempt I no longer see "asterisks" (i.e. ***) when i type in "123.." Instead I see "wer". Thinking it somehow went into some funky keyboard mode, no matter what "Shift-Alt" combo I try, I never again see an "*" , only numbers and letters, the password entry fails for the 10th time and the f'ing unit wipes itself (and all my fresh uploaded content) and I have to start over.. This has happend 3 times now. The morons on the sprint support center have no clue.. Anyone ever seen this problem? muchas.. K
Well I might try a differnt password if i were you!! Then see what happens no caps just a simple password. Then if it keeps happening I'd take my phone back.
