...just got my 8830 today and noticed that the volume is too low
and can hardly hear when someones calling.I tried to put it on LOUD
in the Profile setting and its useless.Whats worst is when i use ringstones
downloded from the this forum, you can barely hear anything...any suggestion
of what to do....thanks a lot....

Try going to profile, then advance and change the volume. Make sure you select the active profile in the advance section.

I'm not a sprint fan boy, but is it a verizon 8830? There's another posting regarding this issue with the 8830 volume but it seems to be vzw ones.
