Why do my missed calls show up in "Messages"? Is there a way to disable this?

Open call log
Hit the menu key
Choose options
Choose Call Logging
Select None

The missed calls will no longer show in your messages, but will appear in your call log.

i was wondering if that could be done too..hated having the new msg indicator when all it was is a missed call and then u have to actually click on the missed call to make the notification go away..Thanks!

Then if you need to see more than just 3 days of calls, open your messages and hold down "alt"and "p". Your e-mails will be replaced with your call log temporarily until you close your messages and reopen them. Then you're e-mails will re-appear.
