i have a customer that want to make his whole phone silent. whn we put the profile on quit it does just tht except for whn he dials. is there a way to make it now make any noise whn it dials?

oh and i love this site but i just signed up so im jst saying hello frm ohio also

the only time I can get my 8130 to not make tones when dialing is when it is on vibrate...

There isn't. The DTMF tones cannot be silenced.... and Elroy... how about not posting like it's a txt message? IT gets anoying to read. Mmmkay. Thanks

To silent your key tone go to option > screen/keyboard > scroll down to key tone and select off.

Actually, the key tone on/off just controlls the text keys, it does not silence the tone when dialing in phone mode. I do not believe there is anyway to do that - I hope they will change that in a future o/s update.
