I have the 8830 world edition with telus. Anytime I add a ringtone, whether its a .wav , or .mp3 or any other format it plays fine in the media player... However when I add it as the phone tune, anytime a calls comes in it plays for about 4 to 5 seconds, then pauses, and repeats itself. It never continues to play the ringtone as it should. this is really annoying me and I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me the answer to this

    Thanks in advance!

It's an OS issue with the Telus version of the software that's on the phone.

figured it out, you simply have to make sure its a standard mp3 @ 265bps

if you do that it will work fine, but some other formats such as wav's do cut off the way I was mentioning in my previous post.

    Thanks for the help

Open the attachment. I have a similar setup from my office and it plays fine. When I open the attachment the Media Player plays the wav file.
