    IM trying to use my BB 8830 as a modem but it has been unsuccessful, because there is no standard modem driver on my device hardware. I done all the steps as BB said but no result. Can somebody help with this.

    Usually you have to have the tether feature added by your provider. You could also try Tetherberry.
