I move audio files from Itunes to my BB 8830 all the time and it works fine. I recently bought an audiobook - it's an .m4b file, rather than the standard .m4a type. I understand this is just a way for itunes to know it's a book - but the bb won't play it. It shows up in the menu, but when I try to play it, I get the error that it is an unsupported media type. Any ideas?

Try by simply changing the extension from .m4b to .m4a

I should have mentioned that I tried that... no luck.

Do you transfer all your music, even the stuff that was locked by iTunes? If you did, how did you unlock it?

Has anyone figured this out? Hate to think I just wasted $20

I have the same problem. I really wanted to listen to the audio books, and the Mac sync manager is set up to transfer itunes audiobooks to the BB, but they do not play. Strange.

If the file is DRM'd, it won't work. Strip the DRM yo.
