    My 8830 got wet and the keypad and trackball no longer work. Luckily I have insurance, so a replacement 8830 will be arriving tomorrow.

    I would like to wipe my old 8830 before sending it to the insurance vendor.

    Can anyone tell me how I can do that after connecting the 8830 to my computer? I can access the BB using the Desktop Manager.

    Make sure its fully dried out before connecting it to your pc or you'll have bigger problems then you can try to use jl _ cmdr but if the bb is nonresponsive not sure it will work. _
